A Few Moments With Zahava Schertz

Her name was Rutka Laskier -- and she's coming to be known as "the Polish Anne Frank" -- a 14 year old girl living in Nazi-occupied Poland.  She would not survive the holocaust, but at her request, her notebook did, kept private by her friend for 60 years.  In a newly published book, the world is just now getting another glimpse into the mind and world surrounding a holocaust victim.  It's called Rutka's Notebook.  Her sister, Zahava Schertz, born after the holocaust, never knew about her sister, in fact Rutka's entire family, except for her father, was murdered by the Nazis.  Zahava was only made aware of the book 2 years ago, and spends a few moments with Fox Radio's Melanie Lyons to talk about it.

A Few Moments With May Pang

In 1973 May Pang went from a twenty-something personal assistant to John Lennon and Yoko Ono to being Lennon's "other woman." That began a year and a half romance Beatles fans refer to as the "Lost Weekend." Now Pang has collected the photographs she took during that period of redemption and renewal in Lennon's life and brought them together in the book "Instamatic Karma." in an interview with Fox News Radio's Mike Majchrowitz, Pang explains how the pictures captured touching moments of John reconnecting with his young son Julian. They also document John and Paul McCartney ending their bitter feud as the Beatles were dissolved as a partnership to exist only on vinyl and in Rock and Roll history. There are also interesting historic insights like how the Beatles formed in the tough neighborhoods of Liverpool, England actually ended as a band at Disneyworld. It is an eyewitness journey through a period of great change and creativity in the life of one of the greatest legends Rock and Roll ever produced.
